BTA/Tonkawa won the final of the USPA Keleen & Carlton Beal Cup on Sunday, winning 10.5-7 against CW Petroleum/Old Pueblo at the Houston Polo Club.
BTA/Tonkawa was the faster of the two teams to get going in the first chukka and they maintained their lead throughout before extending it in the final two chukkas to win by a comfortable margin in the end. Jack Kiely and Mason Wroe pulled the strings for the winning team and even though both teams had a similar number of chances, it was the greater accuracy from open play and the penalty line that proved to be the difference for BTA/Tonkawa in the end.
