An exciting match saw the end of the Sotogrande season with a win for Calatagan in the final of the Copa de Oro (Alto Hcp) on Saturday 31st August at the Ayala Polo Club.
A tightly fought match with scores close throughout and Facundo Pieres and Bartolome Castagnola led their respective teams from the back. The game was tied with just minutes to go in the final chukka, the winning goal was scored by Santiago Laborde who tipped the scales to 15-14 against ATL Marine & Energy to run out winners.
