Carbenella won the final of the Conkwright Memorial Officers Cup, winning 9-7 against Antelope at the Eldorado Polo Club. A really hard fought 6 chukkas, the lead switched between the two teams at half time. Antelope went into the break leading by two goals only for Carbonella to put their foot on the gas in the 4th and come out with 3 goals, equalising and putting the pressure on. They kept up their momentum and Antelope were unable to stem the flow of goals or score in return.
22 shots on goal and 14 out of 19 throw ins won, Antelope led in terms of possession throughout with more opportunities on goal both from the field and the penalty line, an advantage which earned them the win and saw them raise the trophy on Sunday 26th January.
