Eureka won the final of the USPA General George S. Patton on Saturday, winning 5.5-5 against Pegasus at the Houston Polo Club.
After a fairly even first half where each team only managed to score a single goal a piece, the match dynamic changed in the third chukka when Eureka dominated their opponents by 2-0. Pegasus were far from done, however, scoring four goals in the final chukka and storming back to take the lead. In the dying seconds of the game Judah Altic, the lowest handicap player on the field, became the hero with a last gasp goal to equalize the score and give Eureka the win by their 0.5 goal handicap difference.
