Hillcroft won the final of the National Copper Cup on Sunday 30th March, winning 8-7 against Las Brisas at the Sarasota Polo Club after a close and exciting match which went right down to the wire. After a goalless 3rd chukka, Hillcroft managed to gain a 1 goal advantage in the 4th which they were able to keep throughout the rest of the game. Las Brisas did not make it easy however as they went goal for goal with Hillcroft through the whole second half, never allowing the Hillcroft defense a break.

Hillcroft proved more accurate from the penalty line with 80% accuracy seeing them score 4 out of 5 and ultimately making the crucial difference in such a tightly contested match.
