Kaia won the Final of the NPC 16-Goal Championship on Sunday 13th April, winning 10-9 against Zapican BMW at the National Polo Center.
An extremely close match, Kaia was leading throughout but never able to get more than a goal ahead of Zapican BMW who fought throughout. They equalised going into halftime and only dropped one goal to the eventual winners but Kaia's determination paid off. Possession was even throughout with both sides shooting 17 times at goal but Kaia had 8 opportunities from the penalty line (thanks to 10 fouls from Zapican BMW) of which they scored 6, giving them the upperhand over Zapican who only had 2 shots.
Close until the final whistle it was anyone's game, but in the end some incredible attacking play from Lucas Criado and accuracy from the penalty line sealed the deal for Kaia and they took home the win.
