La Fija Sandbox won the final of the Open de France on Sunday 22nd September, winning 12-10 against Mungo at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly in a close, evenly matched game.
While possession was even throughout, La Fija Sandbox were dominating through the first half before a comeback from Mungo brought them back into the game, heading into the penultimate chukka 10-6 up. A great chukka from La Fija Sandbox turned the tables and with 4 goals in the 5th they sealed their win.
