Mt. Brilliant won the final of the Stephen Orthwein Memorial on Saturday 29th March, winning 11-10 against San Pedro at the Port Mayaca Polo Club. An excellent last chukka saw the winners outscore San Pedro 3-0 to take back the lead and ride to the win.

After an initial strong start, Mt Brilliant began to trail, unable to keep up with San Pedro's onslaught on the goal mouth from the field but with 12 fouls from San Pedro (to Mt Brilliant's 2) the tables started to turn and with 7 opportunities at goal from penalties Mt Brilliant were able to pull back the lead in the last and secure the win with 1 goal in hand.
