Play continued on November 1, at the Torneo Clasificatorio Remonta y Veterinaria in Pilar as Alegria Fish Creek faced-off against La Fijia. Displaying an effective offensive strategy from the beginning of the match, Alegria Fish Creek never relinquished their lead and took a decisive 14-11 victory.

Alegria Fish Creek got off to a quick start with back-to-back goals from Bautista Bayugar and Juan Ruiz Guiñazú. Left off the scoreboard in the first, Ignacio Negri and Raul Colombres responded for La Fija in the second, while Clemente Zavaleta and Joaquín Pittaluga added two more goals for Alegria Fish Creek. The teams would each trade two goals in the third chukka, including two penalty conversions from Bayugar for Alegria Fish Creek and one goal each for La Fija’s Colombres and Ignacio Negri. La Fija’s Felipe Vercellino found the goal from the penalty line as Colombres added an additional goal from the field. Despite scoring two goals in the fourth, Zavaleta would score once more for Alegria Fish Creek to secure a one goal lead at halftime.

Ezequiel Martinez Ferrario kicked off the second half finding the goal for La Fija but the offensive effectiveness of Bayugar continued in the fifth, adding another two goals for Alegria Fish Creek. Riding their momentum into the sixth, Alegria Fish Creek added four more goals to the scoreboard, including another two from Bayugar. Attempting a final comeback push, La Fija would score three times, including twice off the mallet of Ignacio Negri, however, one more goal from Bayugar would secure the win for Alegria Fish Creek.
La Esquina Convincing in Win at Torneo Clasificatorio Remonta y Veterinaria
La Aguada also met La Esquina in match play on November 1, at the Torneo Clasificatorio Remonta y Veterinaria. Consistent from the outset, La Esquina took a three goal lead into the break and maintained their advantage in the second half of play for a convincing 13-9 triumph.

Trading goals in the first, Miguel Novillo Astrada found the goal for La Aguada while La Esquina’s Ignacio Laprida responded with a successful penalty conversion of his own. Breaking through in the second, Laprida scored two more goals, including another penalty goal with Cristian Laprida following suit from the field for La Esquina, as Manuel Elizalde managed to score the only goal of the chukka for La Aguada. In a high scoring third chukka, Tommy Beresford opened the offensive drive scoring the first of two goals for La Aguada while La Esquina responded with three goals, including two off the mallet of Cristian Laprida. La Aguada’s Elizalde and La Esquina’s Ignacio Laprida traded goals in the fourth for the only scoring of the chukka, as La Esquina took a three goal 8-5 halftime lead.

Mariano Gonzalez struck first for La Aguada in the fifth, eliciting a response from La Esquina’s Ignacio Laprida from the field. Building off their successful first half, La Esquina added an additional three goals in the sixth as Pascual Sáinz de Vicuña found the goal for La Esquina the first time in the match, while Ignacio Laprida contributed the only goal for La Aguada in the sixth from the penalty line. Despite La Aguada finding the goal twice in the final chukka, Ignacio Laprida tapped a final penalty goal as time expired to secure the victory for La Esquina 13-9.
