- Tapping the ball forwards, the player looks up to see where his teammates are on the field. By running with the ball and tapping it, he gives them time to get into a position to pick up a pass.
- Seeing his unmarked teammate anticipate the play and accelerate forwards to get on a line between the ball and the goal, the player hits a hard offside forward downfield.
- Teammate picks up the line of the ball and taps it through the goal.
