Park Place won the first Subsidiary Semi Final of the C.V Whitney Cup on Thursday 20th February, winning 12-6 against Clearwater at the National Polo Center and taking their place in Sunday's Subsidiary Final. A strong first half from Park Place kept Clearwater's scoring opportunities low and they were able to pull away 5-2 going into the second half. They kept up the pace, Clearwater giving them plenty of opportunities from the penalty line (5 of 8 they scored) and despite challenges from Clearwater in the last 2 chukkas, they earned a convincing win to push them through to the Sub Final.
