


King Power won the Quarter-final of the Cartier Queen's Cup on Saturday 8th June, winning 14-13 in overtime against Dubai Polo Team at Guards Polo Club and earning their place in next Wednesday's Semi Finals.
King Power were ahead for most of this match against the previously unbeaten Dubai side despite losing 14-6 in the league stage match up.
Nico Pieres and Pablo MacDonough controlled the King Power side, making the most of any space and converting their penalties. By the end of the fifth King Power were leading 13-8 and looked in control of the game.
It was all change in the sixth though with Camilo Castagnola scoring five consequetive goals both from the field and the penalty line to bring the match level with only 50 seconds left to play. However, it was Nico Pieres who found some space just seconds into the seventh chukka and powered a huge hit to goal to win the game for the King Power team and send them through into the Semis.
