Talandracas Polo Team won the Semi-final of the Cartier Queen's Cup on Wednesday 12th June, winning 16-11 against Black Bears at the Guards Polo Club.
Talandracas were 8-5 up after three chukkas. Of course one should never discount the Pieres brothers, Facundo and Gonzalo, and a come back in the fifth brough them within two goals but this was Talandracas’s day. Polito was supported by Alejandro Muzzio – his team-mate in the 2023 final – and Rosendo Torreguitar, delivering both great passes and some excellent defensive play which ensured they dominated throughout and Black Bears were unable to catch up.
