Score Table Germany vs Italy

Facing a revived Germany team coming off their first tournament victory, Italy opened the scoring early with three goals in the first chukka, including a two-goal contribution from Gregorio Golosi. Unable to score in first, Germany answered with two goals in the second chukka, ending the half with a 2-4 deficit. Both teams received four penalty attempts throughout play but it was Italy who was able to convert all four goals and capitalize in each chukka. Despite goals for Germany in the third from Michl Grabosch and Emil Grabosch in the fourth chukka they were unable to keep Italy off the board. Ultimately, it was Italy's steady play and ability to convert penalty opportunities that enabled them to double their goals from the first half and emerge ontop 8-4.
