
Fresh off their victory against La Irentia, BP Polo were looking to keep their winning momentum going as they faced La Hache in the Jockey Club Open at San Isidro Polo Club. BP Polo found themselves in another close game with a talented opponent in La Hace who also won their first victory of the tournament against La Irenia. Ultimately, it would be the steady play from La Hache that would allow them to come away with another victory 10-7.
Scoring opened with a goal off the mallet of Franciscio Elizalde and followed by Camilo Castagnola with two goals, one from the field and another from a penalty shot, to take the early lead for BP Polo. Hilario Ulloa responded for La Hache, also scoring two goals in the first. La Hache would follow up with two goals in the second and another two goals from Hilario Ulloa in the third, taking the lead 6-5 at the half. The fourth chukka saw a repeat of the third for Hilario Ulloa, scoring two more goals as La Hache were able to hold BP Polo to only one penalty goal from Camilo Castagnola. La Hache continued their trend posting two goals a chukka in the fifth and despite being scoreless in the sixth, their steady consistency on both sides of the ball allowed them to take the match 10-7.
