Las Petisas wins the Tackeria Invitational

Final showdown of the Tackeria InvitationalLas Petisas 1
Las Petisas 2

Las Petisas won the final of the Tackeria Invitational on Saturday 19th April, winning 7-5 against Orea at the IPS School.

A close game, it wasn't until the final chukka that the victors began to pull away and feel secure in their win, Orea giving them a good run and matching them at half time and into the third chukka. But the superior team strategy and combination plays of Las Petisas won out with them dominating in possession and able to make consistent attacking plays that overcame the Orea defence.

Juan Peluso and Nicolas Miro Bongiovanni worked perfectly together at 3 and 4 to turn defensive plays into attacking opportunities while Elizabeth Keys and Felipe Miro Bongiovanni worked hard on the men to clear space and finish off goals. Ultimately it was the four man strategy that earned them the win, capitalising on 7 of their 12 shots to goal to finish the match 7-5 and take home the trophy.
