Lucas Monteverde comes from a great polo pedigree, his father of the same name having been a 10 goal player in the past who won the Argentine Open title with La Dolfina. At the young age of 18 Lucas jr is already making a big impression playing off 8 goals in Argentina this season and lining up for the Ellerstina Yellow Rose team in the Triple Crown. In the semi final of the Hurlingham Open he scored three goals, almost helping his team to cause a huge upset against his father's former team La Dolfina. Lucas is certainly a player to watch out for and it would be surpising if he doesn't follow in his father's footsteps by becoming the next 10 goaler in the family.
He excels in areas including:
Steal
Field Awareness and Anticipation
Ride-off
Shooting
