One of the core skills in polo is the offside neckshot which is used in multiple in-game scenarios.
Here is an example of a successful offside neckshot resulting in a goal:
- Player wins throw-in from back and takes control of the ball
- Player takes the ball to the right of the field diverting the defenders who try to block the attacking play
- Player looks for the teammate running into space, beating defenders with horse power
- Player passes into space for receiving teammate using the offside neckshot
- Pass receiver moves into space and taps the ball through the goal
