The final of the 2021 Dollar Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club was contested on the Bank Holiday Monday between Confido/Madams Farm and Ojo Caliente with an overtime Penalty 2 conversion for John Paul Clarkin securing the 5-4 victory and Dollar Cup title.
Tied at three different times throughout the final, Confido/Madams Farm and Ojo Caliente battled back and forth with little separating the two teams and overtime required to determine the champion. Led by two goals from Richard Tyrone, Confido Madams Farm produced an exceptional third chukka to hold a 4-3 lead and were steps away from capturing the title, but Jonny Good came through in a crucial moment for Ojo Caliente in the fourth chukka. Finishing below 30% shooting from the field and penalty line, Confido/Madams Farm had their chances but were unable to capture the victory in regulation, leaving the result to be decided in overtime. After missing two chances at goal, Ojo Caliente received a foul steps in front of goal and Clarkin tapped the ball through on the Penalty 2, securing the Dollar Cup title for Ojo Caliente.
