Adolfo Cambiaso needs no introduction. Captaining La Dolfina in last year's UK high goal, he showcased his skills once again winning the Subsidiary Final against Cibao La Pampa. This time combining play with his daughter Mia Cambiaso, Charlie Hanbury and 7 goaler Alfredo Bigatti. He excels in areas including:
Playing in the number 4 shirt, he stuck very definitively to his role as back, ensuring the back door was closed at all times and minimising counter attacking plays through his quick defensive skills, while also rotating the direction of play from defense to attack, sending long passes up to Mia and Charlie who were running forward. He is well known for his calm and measured way of playing, never looking rushed or under pressure and with two such strong players out in front he was able to play deep, picking up interceptions and steals and allowing the others to run forward and make the goal scoring plays.
