A quick and agile player, Alejandro Muzzio made a huge impact on the performance of his UK high goal season team Talandracas. He was instrumental in their down to the wire win over La Dolfina Great Oaks in The Queen's Cup and came out as MVP after his performance. While Talandracas lost out to eventual Gold Cup winners Dubai in the Semi Finals, Alejandro Muzzio also performed very well in the second tournament of the high goal double header, consistent throughout the season in his play.
His strengths lie in his reading of the game and his speed at moving into space. He is quick onto every loose ball and interception, creating attacking plays from every opportunity both through steals and through strong ride offs which gain him possession. His top stats for the season relate to this ability to create scoring opportunities both through his 65 field goal shots (of which he converted 25) and 24 assists. He is also credited with 32 throw ins proving once again that he is an opportunistic player.
When coupled with a player like Polito who is well known for his ball control and his high scoring average, it is no wonder that the duo have made waves in the 2024 season. They are a perfect complement of players, Muzzio creating plays and space and Polito finishing.
