Louis Hine had a phenomenal season in the US playing in the number 2 shirt for Park Place. He played well above his 5 goal handicap throughout the season and was an integral part of the reason his team won their first USPA Gold Cup.
A last minute addition to the team he fitted the team dynamic well. For a team that is so often centred around the captain, Hilario Ulloa, Louis Hine brought an interesting change to the team's strategy of relying heavily on Hilario as the main ball carrier and goal scorer. Louis and Peke Gonzalez worked flawlessly together to create space for Ulloa when needed, but more importantly they offered new attacking options, encouraging team interplays that saw the passing rate of the team go up and therefore made their runs and offensive plays harder to read and more successful. Opponents were unable to shut down all three players and they always had someone free up front.
Louis' impressive ball control skills and ability to read plays and adjust his trajectory accordingly at the drop of a hat did not go unnoticed. His handicap has been raised from 5 to 6 as of now and in December will go up again to 7.
