Winner of the US Open Women's Polo Championship with her team Buena Vibra, Milly Hine had a standout performance in the tournament. Alongside teammates Cande Fernandez Araujo and sisters Valentina and Giuliana Tarazona, Buena Vibra reached the final against La Fe Eastern Hay, to win 12-9 in a convincing victory.
Milly Hine played consistently well throughout the tournament, showcasing her superior ball control skills as well as her accuracy in front of goal. She was the second highest goal scorer after Hope Arellano. Playing at number 4 she proved herself as adept in defence as attack, working hard to keep the back door shut and block opposing plays which she was then able to turn into positive plays for her team, working well with Cande to win, maintain and make the most of possession through quick interplays and passes. A tough player to get past she was pivotal in her team's success, not just on the scoreboard but in dynamic, groundmaking open play as well.
