Sophia DeAngelis showed good form in the recent National Youth Tournament Series Championship. Playing in the number 4 position for Delta Dawn, she played a key role for her team in both attack and defense. In the final game against Ever Ready she scored 2 goals from 4 attempts and provided an assist, helping her team to a resounding 8-2 victory and earning a well-deserved MVP award. One of the ponies that she played (Rita owned by Memo Gracida) also won the prize for best playing pony. Sophia is certainly a player to watch out for in the future!
