A constant conduit for action, the power and presence of Francisco Elizalde cannot be denied. Carrying a 9-goal handicap, Elizalde has resumed his position as La Fe’s captain in the Florida high-goal season for a second consecutive year. A stand-out in both statistics and heart, Elizalde continuously constantly ranks as one of the top competitors in the Gauntlet of Polo, while serving as a leader and mentor to the newly established La Fe organization.

Currently second in goals scored with 78, Elizalde trails Pilot’s Facundo Pieres by just seven goals despite playing two less games. Putting up multiple double-digit performances, La Fe ranks fourth in the Gauntlet with an average of thirteen-goals per game. Facilitating their offense through their number three, Elizalde has scored forty-five of his goals from the field and thirty-three at the penalty line. Converting 75% of his penalty attempts and carrying a 53% shooting average in open play, Elizalde’s versatility has been crucial to La Fe’s abilities as a strong second-half team. Working in stride with his teammates, Elizalde has won 52 throw-ins and racked up 10 assists.

Carrying a 1-1 record into the second half of the U.S. Open Polo Championship, Elizalde’s talent is complimented by his elite horsepower. Already the recipient of one Best Playing Pony award with “Lavinia Inosencia,” Elizalde’s elite string is prepared for the stretch drive as La Fe sets their sights on reaching the podium.
