Claiming victories in the C.V. Whitney Cup, USPA Gold Cup and three titles in the U.S. Open Polo Championship, 10-goaler Hilario Ulloa continues to impress in South Florida. One of only two players (Facundo Pieres) to hit the prestigious 100-goal mark in a single season, Ulloa enters the U.S. Open Polo Championship quarterfinals sitting third in goals scored at 86. Averaging 7.4 goals per game, Park Place’s captain averages 8 shots per game with an overall shooting percentage of 54%. An incredibly balanced offensive talent, 38 of Ulloa goals have come from the field followed by 29 at the penalty line. Often working in stride with teammates Juan Britos and Jason Wates, Ulloa has racked up 16 assists while displaying his elite play making abilities winning 46 throw-ins.

One of three 10-goalers (Adolfo Cambiaso, Facundo Pieres) currently competing in the Gauntlet of Polo, Ulloa consistently ranks as one of the strongest shooters and facilitators in the field. Armed with the horsepower of one of polo’s most prestigious organizations, Ulloa has received Best Playing Pony honors for “Lavinia Irupe” and “Latia Kavaska.” Braced to make a deep run in the playoffs, Ulloa and Park Place will seek their return to the coveted U.S. Open Polo Championship podium for the first time since 2018.
