Dubai Polo Team won the second Semi-final of the Gold Cup on Wednesday 17th, winning 18-9 against Talandracas at Cowdray Park Polo Club.
Dubai dominated possession throughout to run out easy winners with Jeta Castagnola scoring 11 goals of the total 18 to push his team through to the Final on Sunday.
Queen's Cup winners Talandracas just couldn't take charge of the game and were unable to neutralise Jeta as he made his own plays and encouraged his young teammates to play their potential as well. While a brief comeback in the 4th chukka brought the game to a closer conclusion with Talandracas scoring 5 goals to Dubai's 0, there was no way they could make up for the first half deficit and when Dubai picked up the pace again in the 5th, the victory was all but sealed, Dubai taking their place in Sunday's Final to play against La Dolfina Great Oaks.
