2024 Performance:
This is a new name and line up to the Gauntlet of Polo but with the winning combination of Rufino Merlos and Poroto Cambiaso, it is certainly a team to keep an eye on as they will be going out to win it. Bringing in the talented American player Jesse Bray will further solidify this team's chances of winning and with Scott Devon off 4 goals making up the foursome they are a complete and well balanced team.
Team Analysis:
Poroto brings experience (far beyond his years) to running a high goal team and will no doubt complete this role once again, running the team from the back or midfield. He is a strong communicator and seeing the game from the back of the field enables him to position his teammates well. Rufino has proven himself to be a strong forward asset in any team and will work well with the others, clearing space and making himself available for passes and runs. Jesse Bray's explosive power both on the ball and on the man make him an excellent complement to the finesse of Poroto while Scott Devon is secure and solid out in front. This is a well rounded team with no weaker players and therefore they stand a great chance of making waves in this year's Gauntlet against some potentially more unevenly distributed teams.
