The Team:
Lorenzo Chavanne (6)
Beltrán Laulhé (6)
Nicolas Pieres (8)
Matías Torres Zavaleta (8)
2023 Performance:
A new team, with a new line up we have not seen this team perform in previous years but having come through the Classification unbeaten as a newcomer team, there is plenty of potential here and they are an exciting team to watch.
2024 So Far:
Lorenzo Chavanne - played the UK and Spanish seasons for Amanara
Beltrán Laulhé - played for Dubai in the Queen's Cup and Gold Cup, winners of the latter
Nicolas Pieres - semi finalist in the Queen's Cup and Gold Cup with King Power in the UK
Matías Torres Zavaleta - played for Tamera in the US Triple Crown and Desert Palm in the UK season, Queen's Cup and Gold Cup
Although they have had a tough few matches to start their Argentine Open debut, playing two of the most established teams on the roster, first La Dolfina Saudi and then Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose, they have had some flashes of excellence and the dynamic of experience coupled with youth has proven a successful combination.
While we are accustomed to seeing Nico Pieres at back and Matias Torres Zavaleta taking the midfield number 3 position in other teams, they have opted to switch this up for this team line up, a decision which has proven successful so far. Torres Zavaleta is a solid back, making the most of his long range and accurate back hands while Nico Pieres is proving to be a strong pivotal player at number 3, quick to gain possession and feed the ball up to the forward running youngsters Lorenzo Chavanne and Beltran Lauhle, both of whom have proved themselves more than capable of playing and competing at this high level.
