In a mix up from last year's team, Inaki Laprida and Nicolas Diaz Alberdi joined The Dutta Corp line up this year and while they were unable to make it to the semi finals they had success in the Retama Cup (the subsidiary section of the CV Whitney Cup) which they won against the tough side Park Place. They also reached the quarters of the USPA Gold Cup, narrowly losing out to eventual finalists Coca Cola.
The dynamic of this year's team was more heavily focussed on attack then last year. Bringing in Inaki at the number 3 position gave them the agility to switch instantly between defence and attack and he is well known for his ability to set up positive plays and push his team forward in attack while Tomas Garcia del Rio is a strong back who maintains an aright back door. Both Dutta and Diaz Alberdi are strong on the men but also good ball running targets often splitting and providing the 3 and 4 with passing options as well as splitting the opposition's defensive power.
