Throw-In Positioning - USA

Winning the throw-in plays a big part of any team’s pre-game strategy, as having possession of the ball is essential to scoring goals. 

Here is an example of a successful thrown-in possession resulting in a goal:  

• Throw-in won by the player hanging back
• Player holds up the play to allow the teammate to move forward into space to receive the pass
• Player passes ball to the teammate
• Pass receiver taps ball into the goal
