Indios Chapaleufú Vista Energy won against Cría La Dolfina by a score of 14-13 in the Tortugas Open at Tortugas Country Club on Saturday.
After last week's surprise win against Ellerstina, Cría La Dolfina started this match confidently, rapidly leading by 4-0 in the first chukka before Chalapeufú got on the score board. The Chapa team fought back hard, however, keeping the score close for the majority of the match, before storming into the lead in the decisive seventh chukka which they won by a convincing 3-0. Cría La Dolfina couldn't capitalize on their penalty opportunities in the final chukka, with Bautista Bayugar uncharacteristically missing two 60 yard opportunities, meaning that Chapaleufú hung on for a historic win by one goal. Antonio Heguy was the stand-out player for his team, scoring five goals from open play.
