La Ensenada Dietrich won against La Dolfina Saudi by a score of 14-13 in the Tortugas Open at Tortugas Country Club on Sunday.
Another thrilling encounter saw La Dolfina take a stunning loss, blowing the group wide open for the final fixtures. Guillermo Terrera played instead of the injured Adolfito Cambiaso and the team from Cañuelas struggled to find its rhythm in this match. The first half ended level after La Dolfina had been marginally ahead and the second half was almost a mirror reflection of that with La Ensenada leading most of the way before being finally pegged back in the eighth chukka. It took extra time to separate both teams, but it was La Ensenada who came out ahead with a golden goal by Alfredo Bigatti. La Dolfina will have to beat La Hache in the final round of fixtures to have a chance to go through to the final, but the tie-breaker rules could go against them if La Ensenada win their final match. La Hache for their part will go through if they beat La Dolfina, regardless of the result of the other match.
