La Dolfina Saudi won against La Hache Cría & Polo by a score of 17-13 in the Tortugas Open at Tortugas Country Club on Sunday.
The second day of the Tortugas Open began with another match that looked one-sided on paper. Even though La Dolfina Saudi were missing their Talismanic captain Adolfito Cambiaso, who was replaced by seven goaler Gonzalo Ferrari, the three remaining ten goalers and the considerable horse power available to the team still gave them a significant advantage. La Hache Cría & Polo seemed undaunted, however, starting on even terms against their favoured rivals. An early injury to Facundo Sola (replaced by eight goaler Ignacio Laprida) was a set-back for the team and La Dolfina capitalized with a strong second chukka outscoring their opponents 4-0. To their credit La Hache Cría & Polo hung in and made a match out of it, never letting La Dolfina Saudi get too far ahead on the scoreboard and coming out of the encounter with their heads held high.
