La Hache won against La Hache Cría & Polo by a score of 16-12 in the Tortugas Open at Tortugas Country Club on Sunday.
This was very much a family affair with an Ulloa and a Panelo lining up for both teams. La Hache showed they were not taking the encounter lightly, however, by jumping out to a five goal lead by the end of the third chukka.Their opponents La Hache Cría & Polo kept themselves in the game, but were never able to sufficiently close the gap. Young six goaler Lorenzo Chavanne made his Triple Crown debut replacing the injured Hilario Ulloa in the seventh chukka and a last chukka rally by La Hache Cría & Polo was too little too late in the end.
