Turning Left - UK

Today’s lesson will cover the skill of moving in various directions on the polo field to create space or evade defenders.

Here is an example of a player turning left resulting in a goal: 

• Attacker leaves the ball behind
• Defender takes possession of the ball and turns left with no defender following the line to force a backhand shot
• To avoid interference from the defenders the attacker shoots at goal with an offside forehand shot from distance to score
