While Valiente's spot in the Semi-finals was already secured thanks to their 3-0 standing going into this final league match, this was a must-win game for Coca Cola for them to be in with a shot of continuing their U.S Open journey. Despite an early lead from Valiente, Coca Cola caught up in the second chukka and played consistently throughout to head into the final chukka with a 2 goal lead which they were able to maintain until the final whistle blew.
Only 5 fouls throughout the match meant very few penalties and only field goals, with Polito and Cambiaso opening up the play from the back with long range and assists.
Coca Cola will go up against La Dolfina in the first Semi-final on Wednesday 17th April after they beat out defending champions Park Place in a penalty shootout having both finished the league stages on 2-2 standings. Valiente will face Pilot in the second Semi-final, both teams going in with 3-1 records.
